Jow Gar forms are exceptional methods for training students to defend themselves using the techniques and sequences of the Traditional Jow Gar System.
At Head Academy Jow Gar our focus is on teaching students the application and use of every single technique contained within these forms.
“Without the martial application and correct instruction on body structure and positioning, Kung Fu forms become a pretty dance without substance or meaning.”
This may be pleasing to the eye to the uninitiated, but is of no value for self defence or in the development of a true martial artist.
Grading is an integral part of the development of our students Jow Gar skill. A grading is held each month allowing our students to progress as quickly as possible through the system, while keeping the very high standards expected of our students.
A grading fee of $80 is payable for each grading.
Private tuition in weapons, empty hand forms and San Shou fighting techniques are available from Chief Instructor Nathan Head and senior instructors.
For further information on other weapons and empty hand forms taught, please contact the school directly.
